This week I went to the happiest place on Earth. Disneyland. I was so excited. I felt like a kid again. I couldn't sleep the night before I was so pumped. Of course, I was worrying. Disneyland is supposed to be the perfect day. My mind kept on bringing up these thoughts that made me think it wasn't going to be perfect. But from my meditation practices I was able to let that go a little bit and just say, " It is what it is." That trip turned out to be one of my favorite Disney trips. While there I was thinking, what about this place makes it the happiest place on Earth and allows me to put my thoughts on the back burner? Is it just one of those places that just has good vibes? What's their secret? For me what makes it so special is the wonder and amazement of everything there. Constantly asking yourself, how did they do that? Always thinking, this is incredible. What really stuck out to me the most was all the people. We were all there for one reason. To experience joy. As I people watched I saw people smiling, laughing, hugging, making memories, families coming together, and so many more wonderful things. I realized that happiness and joy are contagious. All I kept seeing and feeling from everyone was good feelings. In turn, I had those good feeling and put them out there as well. There is a saying that says, "When one person shifts, all of humanity shifts." I felt that shift at Disneyland. Made me think, "what if we all put out the joy we feel at Disneyland in our everyday lives?" That would be a powerful thing. It would spread like wildfire! I know for me, I would love to feel that every day. That is my goal. I want to feel peace and joy in my everyday life. It all starts with a choice. The choice to be happy. The choice to create change. Peace and love yall!
Yours truly,
Tyler
